I feel like A.C. that there is something more here.

Oh, yes. I just have to write it.

I feel like a part 3 is needed. Can't leave me hanging like this!

I'm working on Part 3. It's just been a packed week, so I even forgot to say there would be a Part 3. Sorry.

Good work. I could see this going on--but I also think this is a good ending. We have enough to fill in the blanks, even if there are other blanks I'd like to fill in (why didn't Michael and Glory stay together? If she started the fire, how and why?). I always want to know more, but sometimes I have to be satisfied with just enough.

No. No. There's more. I should have put that at the end. I'm not finished with Glory yet.

Excellent! You've segued into a multidimensional space giving your imagination more than enough room to compel the reader to stay with you. Part Phillip K. Dick, part Ursula LeGuin, part Stephen King. I'll buy the book.

Wow! You've named some luminaries in the writing world in your comment. Thank you.

I mention them because you have either learned from your reading or through your honing of voice, to pursue an interesting story.

That is a very fine compliment. Thank you.

Intriguing and creepy story. I wonder if the voice is her conscience? She did something bad in 1955.

I have to write Part 3, so I'll let you know.

Wow, you leave us with even more questions... but to get there, I had to get beyond 1955 being the year my parents graduated from High School.

Well, that's an interesting coincidence.
