It took me a long time to “grow into” it. What helped was having an aunt and a great aunt who got me interested in genealogy.

Hi Lee. I'm always ready for a story for young readers. I hope Miles finds a secret assistant to help with history or at least someone who shows him the path. But what's wrong about not enjoying a subject as much as another?

I guess this story shows my bias. I'm a firm believer that knowing history is essential. Of course, so is knowing math or science or civics or...

Is this going the direction I think, which would be what every kid (or at least me) dreamed of, a ghost to do homework? You tell a compelling story but how many families these days eat dinner together? I miss that!
