Thank you for bringing the focus back to writing as well as talking a little about the value of IWSG. Your books have been a joy to read . . . keep writing!
I like that quote because it is so true. You start out writing crap, but the more you write, the more you learn about the craft and put it to practice, you'll soon discover that you're no longer crap but good stuff.
Now that I have more time for myself, I intend to charge full steam ahead with writing and reading (in between the online teaching that needs to be done, of course...)
Our fellow-member Natalie at Literary Rambles had a great idea about designated (maybe even rotating - my idea) reviewers for IWSG members. Having enjoyed your books so much, I imagine we'd all be going "Me, me, me!" just to publicly share the experience ;-) Write on, dear lady!
I love that cycle too, but yeah, it needs us to stay fresh, stay inspired for the next story, stay passionate about what we do. Those need care and attention and lots and lots of support. Wishing you more great reviews and the kind of support you need.

That is so kind of you, Beth.
Great quote. I hear ya sister on all the steps we continually cycle through as writers
Publishing the book is just the beginning. Keep going. You are a great storyteller. Readers need outstanding books like yours.
You sound busy for sure, but I hope you can also keep getting your walks in!
Yes to the walks! Very important.
Hi,
I like that quote because it is so true. You start out writing crap, but the more you write, the more you learn about the craft and put it to practice, you'll soon discover that you're no longer crap but good stuff.
Have a lovely day.

Crap is necessary...
Loni has a great idea: cloning! That's too funny. I have more time now than I ever have. Thanks Lee, for all your support. Love the cover!
It's a love-hate process for sure. Thanks for visiting my blog.
Congratulations on your reviews, Lee!
Love the quote, too.
Now that I have more time for myself, I intend to charge full steam ahead with writing and reading (in between the online teaching that needs to be done, of course...)
I just need to draw up a schedule.
Wish me luck!

Love that Octavia Butler quote, Lee.
Let me just say Rattlesnake is an excellent read. I urge anyone that hasn't read it, to give it a go.
I hear ya on the writing stages, I'm currently editing and eternally marketing:)

Coming from a real Western writer, that’s a great compliment. Thanks, Sandra.
Great reviews :)

I like your word, "fresh". That captures exactly what is important.
Good quote. The question is interesting, but from what it seems most are waiting to read what interests others. May you get this next book underway!

Thanks for the encouragement, Jeff!
It sounds like you're getting some good reviews. If only that was a faster process, eh.
Don't you know it. Snails are faster.
Really nice reviews. Congrats!
They help to motivate.
Great reviews!
We just keep putting ourselves through the cycle though...
You know it!
Congratulations on your reviews! I love that quote. :)
Thanks, Tyrean.
